How many hashtags should I use on Facebook?
Facebook publishes no cap. No published cap, and hashtags do less on Facebook than anywhere else here.
Count, de-duplicate and check the hashtags in a Facebook post against what it actually accepts.
Free, no sign-up, and it runs entirely in your browser. Limits checked 2026-08-31.
Hashtags are pulled out by the rule every network here shares: a # that begins a word, followed by letters, numbers or underscores, and not made only of digits — so #1 in an ordinary sentence is not counted as a tag.
Duplicates are folded case-insensitively, because #Marketing and #marketing are one tag to the network and two to your character count.
Tags written in styled Unicode are flagged. They look exactly like hashtags and are inert text: no tag page, no reach, and nothing tells you until after you have posted.

Nothing. There is no server behind these pages — the tool is JavaScript running in your tab, so what you type stays in the browser and is never sent anywhere, by us or by anyone else.
Free, with no sign-up, no limit and no watermark. These tools cost us nothing to run because they run on your computer rather than ours. We build them because the people who need them are the people who might eventually want the product they sit next to — that is the whole arrangement, and it does not require anything from you.
Every fix on this page is one you have to remember every time you post. Influenar drafts for Facebook with its rules already applied, and holds the result on a calendar you can argue with before anything publishes.
