Influenar

Social Media Image Sizes

Every image size across eight networks, each one labelled with whether the platform actually published it.

Free, no sign-up, and it runs entirely in your browser.

Each size below is tagged with how it is known. Published means the platform states it in its own documentation. Official, unverified means an official page says so but could not be read directly. Unpublished means it is a convention that works and that nobody official has ever confirmed — which is true of far more of these than the usual list admits.

The 1128 × 191 everybody still quotes is stale. This is the current published size.

1512 × 2565.9:1Published
Post image

Minimum width 200 px. LinkedIn publishes this for post images; it says nothing about link previews, which are a separate thing sized by whatever page you linked to.

Square post

Not published by LinkedIn. Works, and is what most teams use.

1200 × 12001:1Unpublished

3 MB, PNG or JPEG throughout. LinkedIn recommends JPEG, and sets a minimum width of 200 px for post images.

How it works

Every dimension is tagged with how it is known, because a good share of the sizes on every list like this were never published by the platform — they are conventions that happen to work, copied between articles until they read like specifications.

Two of the most widely copied are also years out of date. LinkedIn's page cover is 1512 × 256, not the 1128 × 191 still in circulation, and a YouTube thumbnail is 3840 × 2160 with a 50 MB ceiling, not 1280 × 720 at 2 MB.

Where a platform genuinely publishes nothing — Bluesky's avatar dimensions, most of Facebook's feed sizes — that is what the table says, rather than a confident number with no source behind it.

Questions

Why are some sizes marked as unpublished?

Because they are. Bluesky publishes byte and format limits for avatars but no pixel size at all; Meta publishes almost nothing for feed images. The sizes in those rows work and are what everybody uses — they are just not specifications, and a list that presented them as such would be passing on somebody else’s guess as fact.

What happens to the text I paste in?

Nothing. There is no server behind these pages — the tool is JavaScript running in your tab, so what you type stays in the browser and is never sent anywhere, by us or by anyone else.

Is it really free, and is there a catch?

Free, with no sign-up, no limit and no watermark. These tools cost us nothing to run because they run on your computer rather than ours. We build them because the people who need them are the people who might eventually want the product they sit next to — that is the whole arrangement, and it does not require anything from you.

Plan it once, ship it everywhere.

Influenar turns one brief into a quarter of scheduled posts across eight networks, and feeds what each one earned back into the next brief. The measuring you are doing by hand here is the part it does on its own.
